This place needs to be investigated.... patient a being abused there. Nurses put there hands on patients and treat them like nothing. They don't do anything for the patients until a family member threatens to report them. I asked the nurse about our family member and she said " I dont know anything about your family member , I'm just the nurse". This Place falsifies nursing documentation. The Texas Board of Nursing neededs to investigate these nurses. When I went to talk to a charge nurse about what happened when there was a problem not getting our family member to dialysis , until the husband threated to report them. The charge nurse denied that ever happened and no where on the nursing note/documentation did it state anything ever happening. Then this place is dirty and the city of houston needs to go in there and rate if that place should even be open. Oh and it gets better so this place doesn't supply patient any basic essentials, like toilet paper. When confronted about it the charged nurse got upset about it. She stated that patient need to tell them that they need toilet paper. How do patients know that if they are new and you never clarify with the patient. Also, she had the nerve to raise her voice and stated " how are we suppose to provide toilet paper for every restroom". Umm well lets see every patient is roomed with someone else and ever restroom is shared with two rooms, so that means you dont even have enough restrooms for your patients. So it shouldn't be too hard to stock toilets paper for every restroom. Every nurse has a certain amount of patients every shift and you have Nursing Assistance. So you mean to tell me that everthing i said about nurses hitting patients, patients not getting medical treatment, nurses not knowing any about the patient and i quote per the nurse "im just the nurse i dont know about the patients" but yet your administering patient medication.... that is scary and falsified documentation, with all that being said the charge nurse didnt get upset or even seemed bothered by all of those things.... but when i said mentioned toilet paper not being provided to the patients she wants to argue back... hmmmmm .... that tells you alot about that charge nurse Sue and nursing facility. Also not to mention that their nursing director wasn't any help. When we mentioned patient being hit, instead of being concerned she had a smile when writing this down and started to get defensive. Joint commission really needs to stop by that place and OSHA needs to be contacted. There are so many things wrong with that place, I honeslty not know how they are still open.
