This a after hospital rehab facility. We have had a family member here twice and the level of care is excellent. They have a large rehab area and are very attentive to patient care. The food is also good according to my picky father. The rooms are large and homey. Actually nicer than their retirement apartment.
If your loved one isn’t ambulatory or if he/she has had a stoke run away from this place fast. My poor dad nearly passed away there in January. If my step mom hadn’t shown up one night he wouldn’t be here today. His organs were already shutting down by the time we got him to ER and the staff weren’t giving him the care he needed.
Caring staff. Excellent PT and OT! Food is decent, nice rooms.
My dad was admitted twice before and it was amazing from the food, room, physical therapy, nurses , nursing assistants etc. but not sure what happened mid-year 2017. Not enough staff for all the patients they have, they don't respond within 15 minutes of calling for the nurse and worst of all was the treatment my father received from a couple of nurses, and almost all of the nursing assistants/aides (whatever their title) who were absolutely terrible and shouldn't be allowed near patients. We will never go back and we are so sad because it was fantastic before. The physical therapists are amazing and Victoria in admissions is so kind.
For me, this was the best place ever! I felt like I was staying in a hotel. Private rooms resemble studio apartments. When dining, their table setting is with real dinnerware and linen napkins. You are personally served your food, no standing in line. Yes, their therapists will challenge you but it is for your sake. For me they didn't pressure me much, if I really couldn't do it. I was able to come back home and function.
