It's not a place for long term that for sure I myself only had to stay to recuperate my right knee injury. They need assistance when lights are blinking for help. One CNA might be busy or on break and the other CNA might help if that person is busy. You could wait up to twenty five for someone to answer your call light. It is a nice place

Worst place ever!!!! It's dirty and they don't do their job! Mrs Johnnie Mae the lady who runs it is 76 years old she needs to retire! She don't do nothing to help the residents and when you call her out to do her job she wants to go in the room and talk! Patients medicine wallets cash and credit cards missing. They don't change the sheets regularly and showers are only on Tuesday s and Thursday not as needed! They have refused to help with ssi and disability paperwork for my loved one. Don't put your family here! They also own the one on Lemon Hill. Severe neglect and medicine abuse here.

My mother was there for about 7 days when she decided she needed to get out of their. On the six night her room mate started coking. My mom pushed the ring button and stared yelling for help. I took almost three hours for someone to come to her roommates aid. On the seven day my received her medication 6 hours late only after I arrived and demanded her medication. Most, but not all the staff, did not care.

I had a great experience at Applewood Care Center. I was there for approximately 2.5 weeks for physical therapy after having broken my ankle. The Physical Therapists I had were wonderful, both Mark and Magnolia gave me invaluable tools and strength building techniques so I could get around with my walker and wheelchair. It was excellent training for when I got home, due to them I can maneuver around my house. The staff is very friendly and professional, The RN's and CNA's were all kind and compassionate. The people in the office are great too. I was impressed that the facility is kept very clean, as are the patients. I would highly recommend Applewood Post Acute to anyone who is looking for a good care facility.
