No facility is perfect. This is a facility that actually tries. The MDS department hold meeting to discuss plan of care which is very helpful. It gives family members a chance to meet the interdisciplinary team and go over any question/concerns. The floor staff is helpful and they are always doing reeducation for staff when anything is missed. I would recommend this facility to my loved ones.

I thought that my brother would be in great hands at this nursing home; but I was so wrong. They are very under staff, and no one seems to know Anything; and we have had 2 family members to get their cars broken into and the staff say " Oh the Directors are aware of the break in's".But they are breaking into cars at the front door. This nursing home is horrible.

My grandma was 90 years old and slipped in the shower at home and went to here and within two days she fell and hit her head and they sent her back to the hopital and we didn't hear about it till 5 am when the hospital dr called us and told us she hit her head so bad the brain was filling with blood and they were scared to do surgery because a good chance she wouldn't survive so we took her home where we slowly had to watch her die . It was the hardest thing to wat h someone you love take their last breath . After all this I went back up to talk to some head lady and all she said was she could have fell at home and an accident is an accident . They didn't even have a report on it so nobody knows what happened . Sometimes I think one of the nurses could have had something to do with it. Neglect some how .

I was admitted here a few years ago. It was the worst experience I had ever had. I was in there for a few weeks, & I had to be admitted back into the hospital because the wound that they should have been treating got infected. The nurses weren't following the doctor's orders for my wound care. I had to have a second surgery to remove infected tissue. I almost lost my foot because of them. I don't want anyone to go through what I went through. It was also upsetting to my mom to see that it was getting infected & they dod nothing. I don't recommend this place to anyone. It was a nightmare!!

We admitted our mom to this facility after her back surgery, we thought within a couple weeks of being at Bridgecrest she would have gained her strength back enough to finish recovering from home. Day 2 and we were getting her out of that place. They barely came to check on her except to bring their horrible food and to dope her up on pain meds and laxatives. I had to ball my eyes out on day 1 to get anyone to help me get her clean after they gave her to many laxatives. Finally after a staff member saw me crying she assisted. My mom also says she fell out of the bed the first night and laid there till staff change at 7am. They claim this did not happen, its my moms word against theirs. My mom called me from the floor saying no one was helping her. I called the facility immediately and got no answer only to find out their phones were not working. Patients push the call button only to wait for assistance, not get it promptly. I saw many call button lights on outside of patients rooms who were not being checked on quickly. They are understaffed and I was even told this by some of their staff. The only thing nice about the place is how it looks.. but looks can be deceiving. They have uncaring, uncompassionate staff members. I feel sorry for those who cant speak for themselves & live there. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. No star rating is deserved but I couldn't post this without at least 1 star...
