If I could give negative stars, I would. I am thoroughly disappointed in Dignity Health. My mom fell a total of 5 Times in the 6 weeks she was here, her last fall resulted in a hip fracture that sent her back to the hospital. She also had an undiagnosed infection that caused hallucinations and confusion. When I finally got ahold of the doctor with my concerns, after over a week of multiple messages left with her nurses, he told me it was her baseline because of her age. I guess it took a fracture to get an order for antibiotics that corrected her baseline of age related mental deterioration. Ridiculous! If you value your loved ones health and quality of life, stay far far away from Bruceville Terrace.

My family filed formal complaints with the state as a result of my grandmother's time at this horrible, negligent, abusive facility. The nurse assistants are incompetent and uncaring. They did not follow the assisted feeding guidelines that were posted in the room, written up by her doctors. They did not monitor her fluid intake and output, which eventually caused her kidneys to begin to shut down. Upon arriving one day, we found our grandmother sitting in her own urine that soaked through to the mattress, the nursing assistants response was "I have a lot of patients." The occupational therapist did nothing to help her regain the strength she had prior to her hospitalization, which was one of the primary reasons we were advised to have her stay in this skilled nursing facility before bringing her home. The doctor in charge of her care kept such poor watch on her diuretics and fluid intake that she began to retain fluid and it started affecting her breathing, necessitating her to be put on oxygen and IV medication. However, the worst offense by far was when my sister was out of my grandma's room to meet with the head of nursing, my grandma tried to get up, fell, the fall alarm went off, a nurse assistant came in, turned the alarm off, and left the room for over 5 minutes before returning to help my grandma back into bed, and in fact my sister returned before the nurse, to find my grandma laying sideways on her bed with the iv pole laying on top of her. We had her transferred back to the hospital that day. The incompetence of the staff is horrifying, and yet after the incident with my grandma sitting in her urine we were assured by the nursing manager that they would make sure nothing like that would happen again. They cover for each other and do their minimal best work. Do not bring your family here.
