I am from San Diego. I am used to pleasant but indifferent service. My daughter while driving through LA had to be taken by ambulance to this hospital. When I arrived, I was surprised how very, very nice and helpful each and every staff member was. From the guard in the parking lot, to staff walking down the halls, each person I interacted with was caring and personal. Our circumstances are stressful, I am grateful to have beyond what I could hope for in the staff.

It's a convenient hospital since we live about 5 mins away...but need more friendly nurses especially in labor and delivery and in post parum.. well maintained and also we as patients also need a lil bit of more quickness when it comes to the emergency room!!

I have nothing good to say about this place. The doctor would talk over me and not listen. I filled out paperwork on what I wanted them to do for my mothers care and it was specific. They were always calling about questions that were answered in the papers I had filled out and signed. Why waste time doing that? The social worker was nice enough but didnt have any information to help. Things she should have had knowledge of. How to get power of attorney for my mother that was in a coma, for instance. She gave me numbers that I " could call and maybe they could help" . All were useless. She was supposed to set up a meeting with the docs caring for my mother. She told the nurses to call. None of the docs knew about this meeting when I had shown up. The social worker dropped the ball. Saying she had told them to call. My question, why was there no follow up on her delegation of the chore?? Why wasnt I called that the meeting wouldnt take place??My mother was transferred to another hospital and when I asked the social worker the same questions, she pulled out paperwork and we filled it out. And she sent it in. Obviously the other social worker needs some assisstance. Theres more but I'll leave it at what Ive said.
