Epic has improved. Epic has great staff. They are very reliable. Definitely a good place to work and a good company to take care of loved ones.

They DO not pay their employees on time. Other agencies wages are better, they lose paperwork and I'm reporting them to the State and labor boards. Terrible business practices they should be out of business. Incompetent unprofessional office staff, chews gum and on cell phone while at front desk. Shameful. H & M homehealthcare agency is way better. Epic can't keep long-term patients either.

I have been working with epic for three years ...I like that they pay every week ...in the beginning they used to mess my check up ... one time I received a check three months late.. the head of nursing is very nasty I don’t call the office when I’m in the field to ask her for anything due to the fact she is nasty rude and just doesn’t want to speak to a cna...the schedulers try their best to work with us it’s hard for them I don’t have a problem with them ....it’s the other staff mainly the wemon that are totally nasty rude ghetto etc.... one time I came to get my annual tb shot one nurse started a verbal confrontation with me while I had the needle in my arm she basically said she is tired of these petty bitches and will get any one of us fired if she felt like it. And she said it out in the open In front of everybody in the area I was in....no shame at all... she approached me like she was in the st not at work .. nothing was done and I even spoke to someone about it no results I stay away from the office that’s where the trouble is and it’s more peaceful in the field...

The nurses are wonderful , but the office staff seems to be quite incompetent. They don't follow through. Very poor inter office communication. When a nurse calls in because she can't fill her shift the next night I don't usually hear about it till the start of the shift that can't be filled. They've left me hanging without a much needed nurse too many times.
