They get one star just because they exist. I gave them a poor review about a year ago. We had to have an emergency place for my Dad when we brought him back to Indianapolis. He is now at Greenwood Meadows and the contrast confirms what a horrible place this is. There is neglect, I have even been told abuse takes place. Recently $20 was stolen from my Dad by a staff person at Greenwood Meadows, everyone who heard about it was horrified and the facility replaced the $20. When Dad was at Forest Creek his only personal possession which he cherished was the last $50 he had to his name. It was stolen when his jacket was mistakenly (?) taken to laundry. When I reported it he was blamed for having that much money on him and I was blamed for letting him. That was the end of that.

I would never send your family or friends here, not even your enemies. Not only did they not pay attention when my mom said something was wrong, they also didn't do what they were supposed to when she went into cardiac arrest. With two nurses in the room when it happened, they delayed CPR by minutes which proved fatal. Now, 6 weeks later, they are trying to bill us when I know for a fact her insurance covers everything. They have absolutely no compassion. Please, by all that is good in the world, do not go to this establishment.

My mom has been in three different homes. They all have good ,and they all have bad. So far Forest Creek Village staff has been good. Just as good as the other two homes. Putting your relatives in a care facility is not easy. I believe that is the whole problem. It will never be as good as there home and independence. It's not the same life to them or to the family. It's hard to put loved ones in hands that are unknown.we have to work with whatever place they are in. We can work through problems. The staff at any facility will work with you.
