My 91-year-old mother stayed here several weeks. Her room was very large. The staff was wonderful. This hadn't been my first choice, and so I was somewhat nervous about the place, but found the team to be welcoming, kind, experienced, and accommodating of our requests and schedules. Mom healed very well and received daily physical therapy that made her much stronger than when she came in. Although the food needs improvement, we were, overall, quite pleased with Lakeview.

2017..I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone whom does care for there loved ones. I made the mistake of admitting my mother to lakeview nursing home bc medicare.gov had them on a 4 to 5 star rating for the area. Well someone mustve gotten paid to buy rating or when state came in all shifts employees mustve been called in to show lots of movement. Only daytime shift is staffed. Overnight and night shifts are always understaff. As well as to many employee turn overs. Always new faces. Employees are never long term, especially cna. My mother was dropped hurting herself with legs of a table left on the side of a bed they kept her on without side rails. Mind u,my mother is bed bound and doesn't turn on her own.... this was a hazard that i and family members kept telling the facility that was prone to happen. As well they dont change diapers on time causing patients to acquire cdiff and diaper rashes....there were times that staff was asked to change her,and there response was, that the food trays had just arrived to floor and that as soon as the trays were assorted and given to all patients on floor and in lunch room, that someone will be coming in to change her..... i many times had to demand NO YOU CHANGE HER NOW.....the place has no compassion for the elderly....if i was able to post pictures of my mother's experience there, you would cry and wonder why action hasnt been taken to close the place down.

Poor care for residents. They steal from the residents. Went to visit a loved one, and we were greeted by a mop bucket & the smell of urine-and this was in the lobby! These workers either need more funding or new jobs. The State should really investigate this place. Poor care, poor standard of care. Waste of State funding.

My grandma was beat by someone in the facility. We had to call the police and she had to go to Illinois Masonic emergency which they admitted her. DO NOT DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE IF YOU TRULY LOVE THEM. And they stole from her and tried to cover up the abuse.

Don't send your loved one here !!! They dropped my mom and broke her leg and then covered it up. If you care about your loved one you will not send them here
