Understaffed. Kitchen food and service a nightmare. No one answers phones except front lobby desk. When doctor or special care needed, never met in a timely manner if at all. Four or five caregivers are the strength and care of full facility and are working beyond their share to care for patient and pick up slack. Run, this is not what your looking for. Could be, is when State visits, then returns to same the day they leave. Have tried to communicate all the way to director until I'm exhausted and feel what's the use.

My dad declined in health here while on rehab from a bypass. He was in good heath, but he was 79. The staff claimed he was participating in rehab, which wasn't true. This was the first lie. Over the course of a few days, he went from alert and well-orientated to rapidly declining. The on staff doctor explained to my mother that he was suffering from a diazepam pill that they had given him nearly 48 hour priors while he crashed, even though that pill had a half-life of only 7-8 hours. This was the 2nd lie. I got involved, and they transferred my father to a nearby hospital, where he died before they could render any care. In their own words, they are "very sorry."

I knew nothing about this facility prior to being admitted following my hospitalization. The doctors, nurses, therapists and general staff were helpful, caring, knowledgeable and competent. The facility was cleaned daily and they provided you with toiletries immediately upon getting settled. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased by the service I received while I was there. My heartfelt thanks to LCCPV.

ZERO stars. this place is a joke and a disgrace for elderly people. The facility smells horrible and the care is very lacking. Nurses stations are not helpful at all. Doctors are never around. My loved one was neglected daily and in a state of unwash and dirty clothes. No one will answer any questions.

I went to visit my mother as I was walking into her room the nurse was helping her with the restroom and taking her back to bed. My mother's clothes were soaking wet with urine and that lazy nurse was putting her back into bed in those wet clothes. I told the nurse she is soaking wet. The nurse said "oh is she". She knew she was wet she pulled her pants up. Not only that her bed was wet too. The nurse did help clean my mother up and put clean clothes on her but only after I said something. It took about 2 hours before they got her wet bed changed. Had I not been there my mother would been lying in urine. It makes me sick knowing how poorly she is being treated and cared for.
