Marquette sued my 98-year-old mother over a bookkeeping error they made. They put a freeze on her bank accounts and refused to speak with me (her POA). We ultimately had to hire an attorney to get copies of her records and to get her bank funds released. We quickly found the discrepancy—she did not owe any of the $7,400 they claimed. Now Marquette is suing her for $7,000 for their own attorney fees and they’ve frozen her bank accounts again! She has spent over $2,400 to fix Marquette’s mistakes and now they want $7,000 more. Marquette residents/interested parties be aware: Marquette and their attorneys are relentless and tenacious—even when they’re in the wrong. Spare yourself a nightmare scenario like the one we are having to endure and take your business elsewhere!
