If you love the person you’re considering taking to this place, find somewhere else! Although I was assured my mother would receive her medication when she was due to get it, they didn’t even have the medication she required! When my mother was first arrived the doctor said he didn’t have time to see her until the following day, she was in this place for approximately 12 hours and had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance with the possibility of food poisoning!

My brother was here during the last stages of Alzheimer's. It is not a fancy looking place and even looks a little unkempt now & then. BUT the caregivers there are awesome. They treat ALL with respect and care. Know everyone's names and stories. After my brother passed the employees formed a circle around him and said a prayer. Those people deserve medals for what they do there. And a GOOD salary!

You simply won't meet a more passionate, caring administrator than Molly Cancila! She has brought such great improvements to this facility in the past few years. The whole staff is thoughtful and caring. It is a really great facility!

Not keeping my parents room clean their clothes go do laundry and take sometimes two weeks for them to get their clothes back my mom's fingernails is always filthy dirty there's just a whole list of things I am not satisfied with and if it wasn't so hard on my parents to move them to another place I would but it would be traumatic for them and I'm hoping I don't have to do that. I would not recommend this place to anybody if I could find a better place I would move my parents but I'm having a hard time finding a better place All the Rest Homes have like A2 star rating. dad sits in the same messy pants for two and three days Mom wears the same clothes for two and three days they don't get washed up like they should . she smells of urine half the time everytime I go to my blood pressure goes up people will not do their jobs !!! I have brought this to administration's attention and I've complained about these things for two years and I'm still complaining about them nothing has improved. I give it a one-star because there's not a zero there I would give it a zero

One star is too many! My Dad went into this place in November, and I moved him out in May. In the dead of winter, they sent him to a medical appointment in only a shirt. Dad suffers with really bad COPD and until I asked them to stop, they sat him in front of the door regularly used for resident smokers. Not only was it cold, he had to take in cigarette smoke. I had to contact the Director of nursing twice to get a chair in the room for visitors. The room was not kept very clean and his bathroom was regularly dirty. I had to ask his outside doctors to place orders for care that should be routine. I can go on. Placing my Dad in this place is the worst decision I have made with regard to his care. If you have a choice, don't choose McNaughton Pointe.
