You might be able to keep employees if you paid them. I’ve been given the run around for almost a month now. You’ll get a paper check, no it’ll be direct deposited, no wait we’ll cut you a check, no you’ll have to wait another week... still waiting no check... I’m not going to hold my breath on it either. Pretty sure the 2nd coming of Christ will happen before I finally get paid from this company...
DO NOT let your family member stay here. I mad a removal from here not to long ago, There were Urine on the floor and Urine smells everywhere, The deceased was lying in a Urine soaked bed with Feces and been there for 4 hours before we were called to make the removal. When I arrived to sign out the deceased and give my license number, I could not find a nurse to give me a face sheet or morticians report to fill out, And this was 10:00 am in the morning. Cant load the bodies from the hallways back door, We had to use the front door where everyone could see. Report was made and we will see what happens next.
I sent my mother here with pneumonia to recover. It took 24 hrs for them to call 911 because she was in stroke levels. The African male nurse kept getting defensive about questioning my mother's condition. If you get defensive about family asking about their loved ones then don't work there. I CAN'T BELIEVE MY AUNT HAD THE AUDACITY TO REFER MY MOTHER HERE SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I HOPE SHE GETS SENT THERE.
Sure...there is always room for improvements...food could be much better, I have seen patients not feed while assistant is texting and / or apathy from care givers, but overall our experience have been very positive. The staff have been very caring to my Mother that has been here for 6 months now as well as to my father that has come every day to visit her. This is a difficult job as some of the residents can be abusive and hard to please, but once again our personal experience has been very positive.....my loving mother should be leaving us in a day or two and everyone here have loved us and made us feel like she mattered and my family and I are thankful for that.....
The nurses are very rude. Night shift nurses go there to sleep at night. They never answer the phone at all for Emergency purposes. My mother was on the floor for hours calling for help nobody came until one family member saw her and repoted to the nurses. She broke her leg . Very disappointed.. I would not advise anybody to go there. They will kill you. I wish states could close the place down horrible. Fire all the night nurses they are horrible. They go there to sleep.
