My mother Lidiya moved to Richmond Beach long term facility at the end of 2016. Beside that the location of Richmond Beach Rehab and nursing home is ideal to our family home, we are so happy with the quality of care for my mother including all very professional nurses and staff, their kind attitude to every individual who is the resident there. It is not only my view, my whole family and friends see this place as a very good home for any person in need. Thank you Richmond Beach Rehab and nursing home! I will give it 5 stars review. Do not go here for rehab, they dont have trained physical therapists. My mom was sent there and they were horrible. Funny i mention she's her to get her legs strengthen and moving again after surgery then go back to apartment. Late one night someone ran in her room pushed her on the floor. I think theyre guaranteed she not going home. Theyre collect beds not part timers. Theyre filthy my mom got uti from the aids being lazy. Theyre suppose use the plastic wash basin for cleaning up patience. they swish wash cloth in dirty sink. I think its horrible back of the building gets their meals served late. They dont give them enough time to eat. I was sitting there, one person brought meal at 6:27pm Another person picking up trays at 6:35. I told them she just got it leave. Almost got in argument about it. Dont count on the administrator she care less about your complaints. Workers didnt like my mom, so the had chance get even with her. Me my sister showed up at dinner time. Im few door down i see aid run in room so we hurried too. Thought something wrong with my mom , got in there just in time see aid shut curtain at next bed. I was horified! The lady in next bed died as punish my mom they left her staring at her for last 5 or 6 hours. And made her eat her dinner while seeing that. Their excuse theyre waiting on funeral home. The beds in the rooms are opposite. They ran shut curtains because we showed up. They are horrible people there mostly Ethiopians. Only 2 of the Ethiopians were good. And few others. But that cant change much when 90% are bad. Nursing homes need better inspections. If you have someone in nursing home spend 7 or 8 hours 4 times a week make sure theyre doing it right. They have bad security side door unlocked 24/7.
