The customer service was awful. My mom was there one night. I went to visit when parking in the parking lot no lights on in parking lot and it was dark already. Go in no one at the front desk n doors are not locked. Get in to the nurse's station n no one at that station but some patients in a wheelchair one patient behind the desk n one outside the desk. As I make it to my mom's rm she is unresponsive n they don't even know or checked on my mom. Nurses was acting like don't bother me. Terrible place for ur family member.

My grandmother is on the first floor. She is receiving PT and OT with the hopes on returning home soon. She was admitted recently and they have yet to meet with us regarding her case, her care, and her prognosis. We are still waiting to hear their plan and when the target release date is. Majority of nurses are rough and not kind. We are concerned that this environment is detrimental for her progress. We were hopeful coming in and now feel hopeless. If you would like for your loved one to be in the best place possible then the smart choice would be to not choose Royal Oaks. The only reason we are giving this facility a star is because they keep it clean.

My Mother was at Royal Oaks in September 2016 for over a month for rehab and I have no complaints. We felt all staff was very attentive and caring. The PT-Joe and OT-Deborah were exceptional.

Unless you are vindictive towards whatever family member you may be considering sending to a rehabilitation facility, you would be wise to avoid Royal Oaks Residence and Rehab center as if it has the black plague. I have personally visited family members and friends in several rehab facilities in my life and frankly, I have never been to any facility where people are treated more horrible than they treat people at Royal Oaks. One of my family members is currently in Royal Oaks. Over the past two weeks I have seen two patients hurt from abusive staff and from lack of proper care. I am doing everything I can to get him transferred to another facility but unfortunately once the blood sucking greedy administration of Royal Oaks gets a hold of someone they do not let go without a fight. If you visit Royal Oaks be sure to visit the second floor. I am sure the inspectors never go past the first floor which is kept very clean for appearances sake. The second floor is a whole different story. I hope and pray that the people who own Royal Oaks will be jailed eventually and I would not be surprised to one day read in the newspapers that they will be brought to justice. Seriously, unless you are a sadist trying to punish the person you may consider sending Royal Oaks, please do your loved one a favor by keeping them as far away from this Hell on earth as you can. Although I realize that there are some really rotten people in the world, I could not imagine what anyone other than the most vilest person in the world could have done to ever deserve the nightmare treatment they will receive at Royal Oaks.

Staffs are slow and lazy. It seems no one cares about the residents until you start complaining and ask to see the supervisor. The director or management really need to start monitoring their staffs and send watch dogs to investigate this place.
