Gloria's Life

My uncle was at this facility and when I went to visit him, I just walked in the door and already knew this wasn’t the place for him!!!! It’s a dark gloomy place! All the patients in the dining room look sad!! When I arrived the kitchen staff walked in and handed him his dinner, when I opened it the food was cold, I took his plate and asked someone to warm it up and i was told there’s a microwave over there!!! Also shower days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s yet he never got a shower! When he had therapy the season was to be for an hour but he stated that he only had about 10mins and sat there the rest of the time!! I got him transferred out of there ASAP!!!

Horrible facility, Historical district means dirty, old outdate equipment, ask to see the long term area, it smells of urine. Do not leave your family member here. They never answer their phone. Staff will ignore you or will avoid eye contact. Rude and under staffed. It took longer than expected to get my father out of this facility and when we did they were mad. I can say that out of the 4 months he was there one nurse was awesome, poor thing I feel for her. I could write a book on how bad this place is. What is worse, medical offices know how bad this place is and still continue to team up with this facility. I don’t see how any doctor can visit patients here and with good conscience leave them there without reporting negligence.

I am paralyzed and lived there.Horrible. Some good staff and a great director of nursing but no air conditioning and food is jail food. Some people try hard there but most don't care.I was there for 5 years and hspoy yp be out. They stole over 9,000 worth of my possessions and I was abused twice.Really sad for the folks who are still there.Do not put someone you love here....So many more bad things here to tell.

Paint missing from walls in rooms, they do not promote mobility and exercise, basic maintenance issues such as missing light bulbs in bathrooms, broken elevators, missing tile, they refuse to provide transfer paperwork.

I work at a medical facility that has quite a few patients that reside here. The customer service is HORRIBLE! They hardly ever answer the phone and when they do, they put you on hold and then leave you on hold FOREVER! It seems that the nurses are very unhappy over the phone, because they are rude and sound annoyed when you call to inform them about one of their residents. I wouldn't want my family member there, if I couldn't even get through to check on them or talk to their nurse. I wouldn't have even put 1 star, if it wasn't for the fact that I HAD to, in order to post this.
