This is the most horrible place. I never seen such lazy workers in my life. The nurses are lazy and CNA are trifling. I took my husband out of there. I hate that place. The administration doesn't check on their workers.

I have been receiving junk mail from Watermark for the last year for my late mother inviting her for "Discovery Luncheons" or some such nonsense. She died in 2015. Each time I receive a flyer, it tears my heart out. No matter who you call - I've even called the Administrator - no one will take her off the mailing list. Ironically, Watermark purchased her information from some third party and when my mother was alive, she lived in Florida, not Pennsylvania. The mail was forwarded to Philadelphia so I could handle her estate matters and the insensitive creeps at Watermark won't remove her. I don't know if they get their jollies by causing emotional pain to others, but speaking as a family member I would steer clear of Watermark! Hopefully this will get Watermark's attention and they'll finally take my late mother off their mailing lists, because nothing else has!

I am new here after 9 years at a suburban retirement community. Can't compare...apples and oranges. Love my apartment and the view. People very friendly. I am figuring out how everything works. Big challenge to adjust at a new place at 88 where I don't know anyone. It is so interesting to meet new people from all over. Very stimulating. Food is excellent. Nice choice of activities. Never lived like this before but I know this experience will help me exercise my mind and body in a positive way. Much closer to family and don't need my car. That in itself a major plus.

My folks moved into the independent living section 10 months ago. And, they felt "at home" almost instantly. The professional staff worked with us in customizing/decorating the apartment to suit my parents' need. And, the overall orientation process was pleasant and easy. While the spacious apartment allows my parents their privacy, they also enjoy the casual socializing, dining experience, and planned activities. And, the on-site physicians and physical therapy are a great convenience. They also enjoy the in-town location. It's safe and clean. And, they can walk to coffee shops, Whole Foods, etc. when they feel up to it.

I was a volunteer here and it was fantastic. Beautiful facilities and caring staff members really make this community great. And it is in a perfect location, with a food strip only a couple blocks away, and in the other direction is center city! All around, a great place!
