Was hired as double weekend nurse and showed up on time for orientation and to 1st weekend shift. Next weekend I showed up later on after start of another shift another nurse shows up. Supervisor states, oh I thought you wasn't coming in. How awful!!! Why would anyone want to work with such disorganization.

A really caring place both for families and residence. I totally recommend this place for short or long term.
MUST READ ENTIRELY!!! Stone Brook Maner @ Broadway is by far the worst ran facility in SA as far as Ethnics go! soiled linen is put into different patients restrooms for the convenience of the staff! (very unsafe and unsanitary) some of the patients are locked down and the rules are made up according to each nurses discretion, (even though there is a written rule book that they must abide by) which causes them to constantly contradict themselves on the very rules they expect you to follow. For example they will tell a patient that smokes, that there are certain smoking times they can go out and smoke with a employee supervising them, but yet will contradict themselves by giving seniority to a particular resident or residents and allow them to break that very rule with no consequences. lack of communication is a huge problem! for example, they do not communicate to each other about medication, and seemed to go off of a different medication sheet every shift? if the doctor has a patient taking a certain medication at a certain time on a certain milligram, that should be recorded in a main chart for the patient! but they all have different information and almost never agree on the correct directions. for example chart : methadone is a scheduled 2 narcotic, (very serious medication ) yet one shift gives it to the patient 4 hours apart, and another shift gives it the correct way, 8 hours apart! There should be no reason for a mix up on a medication like methadone! a serious lack in communication! also, they are quick to judge someone and assume without confronting a situation!? for example a patient was smoking an electronic "vapor",and was reported to the director of nurses that she was smoking a drug out of a glass pipe! the patient was never confronted, or asked any questions? but yet it was reported to the doctor and put on her chart that she was in fact observed doing illicit drugs and was forced to take a drug screen. only after the results came back clear was the patient asked what the "glass contraption" was? That right there is defamation of character! this facility is very unprofessionally ran due to certain "clique" like staff members in charge who are calling the shots unethically! amongst a few very good LVNs and CNAs reside the ones in charge, and some of the worst administration I have ever seen in the near three years I have had the privilege to visit and inspect (no less than a two month stay) at many different nursing facilities and hospitals for the past two and a half years! WARNING!! If you plan on putting a family member Into stone Brook Manor at Broadway? PLEASE RECONSIDER! I am an advocate for the patients And DO NOT like what I Have observed At Stone Brook Manor! I WOULD NEVER Put Anyone that I loved In that place Willingly ever! You're loved one deserves to be lifted up! Not held down. Thank you for reading and Again this is what I have observed, And can be considered My opinion? God bless you and your loved ones.
Nothing. Spoke to a lady named Tina. So very rude. Found a different place for my mom.
