Please don't take your love one there they are just there for a job. They don't care for their patients. But what comes around goes around. God don't like ugly.

Staff is not helpful nor friendly. Watched them ignore a patient for about 5 minutes who was out in the hall asking for help. Kept losing my grandpas items and multiple clothing items in his room were not even his. They don't know how to do their job.

It's an OK nursing home ever since they got bought out by the company and it's got a lot better as you don't smell like your patients seem to be happy and healthy as expected. Seems to be plenty of staff on site for the number of patients pretty good amount of parking they even have a physical therapy area in the back.

My family has had the worse experience with Sunrise Business offices. The business staff especially Billing are never in their office they do not return calls or fulfill request like supplying our family with a detailed bill when finances had gone missing with no explanation. My family tried to no avail to get information to this matter and had no help we decided to discuss this with an Administrator Bobby Smith who offered to assist because we had been waiting in foyer with no help and the receptionist was nowhere to be found like most of the business office. I walked into Bobby smith's office who mind you offered us help and as soon as I said money was missing including our loved ones Social Security check for this month she didn't want to explain anything to us started screaming at us to leave calling male staff from the back to intimidate us. I had in my hand a printout that was supplied to my fiancée about a week earlier that showed they mishandled my dad's finances in August and when I said this Bobby Smith reached across her desk and attempted to grab the paper out of my hands good thing I had a good grip on it because she was trying to take this information from me although they already have this information. I tried many times to explain to Bobby Smith that I had just went to the Social Security office and was informed that Sunrise had made themselves Payee over my Dad's finances by only changing bank info and not putting Sunrise as payee leaving my name as payee which is not the correct way to do this because it shows I was responsible for his monies during the time he was at Sunrise and I was not.... Bobby Smith then yelled When does anyone trust what the government tells you I don't( referring to herself)...this is someone in charge of overseeing individuals who manage patients Social Security checks and Medicaid... when I heard this all hope to get his money back or get a copy of bill faded because I felt like something wasn't right. I can not get any answers from any of them. I was finally given a number for a person named Hindy and when I called it was a fax number. I don't know where to go from here. My dad has been home since October 26 and his Social Security check went to Sunrise and they are no longer responsible for his care and we still haven't heard from Sunrise to find out if they returned it to Social Security or what their process is to return money that does not belong to them. The care staff for the most part is decent but the Business office is unprofessional, shady, and not trained to deal with families that are going through a tough time... no one wants to leave their loved one in a nursing home and thanks to Sunrise I will never trust facilities like this again. The day I went to pick my dad up they had him so medicated he was curled up in a ball just drooling and was unable to get up and walk I had never seen him this way. When we got him home his blood pressure was low... I looked at meds he had been givin... which I was clear when he was admitted on which ones he took and signed off on it ...I was shocked they had him on 2 high BP meds and anxiety meds he was sedated and had very low blood pressure unable to move. I asked questions needed someone to help my family understand everything that's going and no one would help instead we were yelled at threatened with violence and given numbers for corporate that didn't work. We still don't know where my dad's check is or when he is getting it. I feel helpless this has been such a horrible experience.
