Mildred Davis Smith
For me it was the best placecto work. I loved my job helping people help themselves and family communication 2008 in order to work with the sick and disabled you must have a Compassionate Heart, if you don't then you are in the wrong field. Compassionate, Caring, Impathy,Love for the work you are doing. Wish i was able I'd go back to that type of work and become a NURSE that I know I could be.
Worse place to work. While on orientation, for my first revisit in training was assigned a patient who was released from the hospital many days prior to my assigned re-visit. The next day during orientation in class was told to do this visit as a resumption. Also, was assigned pts who were declining visits. Then, day after day, I was instructed to repeadly contact a VA doctor for that resumption of care pt ( the instructor would road block me in getting work done by taking my laptop from me and pull up another pt as I was in the middle of entering medications, for example, on an admission. GAMES!!!! I was told by the instructor to work through my lunch, but other new hires were entitled to leave and take a 45 min lunch on Friday, 10/20.(I was made to stay many hours being a diabetic and not being compensated for working 9.5 hrs). Then, to add to mistreatment, ( NOTE: THE TWO INSTRUCTORS, TO TEST MY TOLERANT LEVEL WOULD LAUGH AT ME)?? The instructor allowed all other new hires to leave work 10/20 before 4pm and told me I must stay and complete an admission, and a request for insurance Authorization.(it being my first time to complete and was ignored for I had questions- which the instructor, Jessy, told me at 6pm Im permitted to close down my computer And could go home. She knew I was sick that day, an was on antibiotoc. Others have complained to HR and in my orientation class I did not see resolve in the bad treatment of new hires in how poorly nurses were treated and humiliated...NEW HIRES BEWARE!!!!
Had high sugar and would not change insulin or do anything about it 😳
Amazing, skilled and caring people that helped the family through a difficult time. Thank you.
They provide a WONDERFUL Service. When my cousin was passing they made the transition very easy. They were really supportive to myself as well as my family.
