Sad to say but this place needs to be condemned. It’s so unhealthy for a dog to live much less your loved one. I would not recommend taking anyone you love there. The entire staff from most high to the least are very inconsiderate caring for the residence. They stay hungry the CNA don’t feed them (not to mention the food is horrible) especially those that need help they throw they food away and lie and said they ate. They talk to them as if their animals because they are helpless the place is a death trap. If you’re looking for a place to send your family if you’ve given up on them then that’s the place for them but if you truly love your family I beg please don’t especially if they can’t talk or has a mental condition. One last thing they have BED BUGS!!! ROACHES AND NATS IN THE KITCHEN!!! It’s just unsafe unhealthy all the way around the state need to shut them down. As you can see no one has responded to any reviews. It’s better out there trust and believe and good luck!!!!!!
My mother has been here for a number of months now and they have gone above and beyond to take care of her medical needs. Ofc there are some tiny issues about stuff like her candy coming up missing but it is a nursing home. Some people who live there have memmory loss. They take them in groups out on trips from time to time. So overall I love this place. My mother is not a easy person to deal with. with the notion that this is not her first nursing home and they meet her needs and handle her with care. Verry pleased as a family member of one of the patients there. Kudos! ****UPDATE**** My mother has been here years now and she still loves it. You know the staff treat a person well when a resident will rush you to bring them back. My mother is not as bad off as others but she still needs help and by all means they help. I promise you nothing goes un-noticed here. My mother was having slight congestion and before I could even tell them she was already being treated for it and medications ordered and being given to her. Weeks later they notice it has not gone away so they have ordered additional tests to determine what’s going on. Now if these nurses don’t care and don’t pay attention how are they picking up on these things and we are getting these phone calls? They care and my mom loves her nurses. The place is older so it does have some wear and tear to it but it’s far from the worst trust me I have seen it. As far as food being nasty. That’s false I’ve gotten a plate there before to eat with my mom during lunch and hell I was happy with the flavor. I don’t know to me some low ratings are just people trying to damage reputation so other nursing homes get more residents. Again it’s just my opinion but I do love this place and the staff so far they have done the absolute best by my mother. I’ve had way worse and nearly lost my mother before due to poor medication management. This place beats them all by a long shot
I WOULD NOT BRING MY “DOG” HERE!!! TRUST YOUR LOVE ONE WILL SURELY DIE ! HORRIBLE MEDICAL CARE N POORLY MANAGED!!! “STATE” TO SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN SOON!!
Woodridge nursing home is a great place to go nurse are the best c N.a.you can't ask for any one better therapy they work you hard but they don't hurt you
I sitting here visiting another resident throws up and no one notice. Than finally an employee picks up part of the table cloth and covers it and tells another employee to get someone to clean it. That employee responds I will call someone because it's time for me to get off. WOW, It's so sad when our elderly and those who need care are in environments such as this.
