An AMAZING facility! Nurses were all very kind, helpful and well trained. As a former patient my experience here was amazing. Great food, Great people an amazing service!
Don't care for this place! Employees complain to much. Place looks nice but the service sucks! Employees don't stay because they are overworked. Only 3 nurses are willing to deal with the patient. The majority of the nurse's job is giving out medication. That's the only time they appear. 4 or 5 CNA's do real good. I'm afraid to leave the person I love in their care. That's how sorry this place is. Hopefully we will be leaving soon. I should have gone with my first instinct when I toured this place.
You all complains about the facility yet you don't even dare to take care of your own family. If you really think you can do better, why even send them to a nursing facility. Why won't you do it on your own?
My Sister was in this facility for one month and during the first week time she got a bedsore, an infection, and she fell out of her bed twice, injuring her mouth and requiring emergency CT scans. She also got a clogged feeding tube due to improper flushing. They are incredibly understaffed with nurses having to cover two floors. The admin staff, dragged their feet on getting her transfer papers. Don't be fooled by the beautiful exterior.
This facility was suggested to us by a case manager at Select speciality hospital. My father in law has been in post acute facilities before none of which compared to this. It was difficult to get a review on it online so I had my doubts. But The facility doesn't look or feel like a rehab center. All private rooms were a nice change from crowded shared room. My father in law was on a respirator in select and we were told he should consider hospice. We decided to send them to Allegiant and they got him off the breathing machine and his trach came out!. We are finally headed home! All the staff is very caring and attentive. Yolanda and Brian, the two directors came to see us everyday to ensure all our needs were being met. Thanks to all who made Jim's recovery possible.
