My Father died at the Anderson House surrounded by his family and a staff that genuinely cared. Now I have returned with another relative....we arrived to a bright, clean, well organized PRIVATE room. A breath of fresh air from the other facility we came from! The property is well maintained and is upbeat. I was impressed with the Staff the first time and so far, it looks as if we are going to be lucky again!!

My mom has been in Anderson House now for a few years, has enjoyed her stay, the staff and has had great personal care delivered by a caring staff. I especially like how its constantly cleaned, updated and maintenance is done on a very consistent basis. We just went to the Christmas program there (as we do every year) enjoyed every minute, it had live music and Santa visited all the good ones.

I"m in disbelief that their main phone number is going into voicemail box for Anderson Plaza nursing station. There is no main operator? I have a doctor that needs to call in and send orders but no info available from this Main number. Please fix this, this is very poor business practice ! Fax number needed, More numbers than this one should be posted on your website. I'm at a loss as to how reach anyone.

BEWARE: Dangerous Facility. Grossly incompetent staff and a terrible communications/organizational system resulting in extreme negligence. They killed my father by overprescribing laxatives, not changing diaper full of diarrhea, which became impacted and caused sepsis and death. They also allowed him to fall out of bed, resulting in ER visit and concussion. They mismanaged his dietary and medication needs constantly. We had family and friends there practically around the clock yet couldn't prevent the awful things that happened there. His only request was to die with dignity. Instead, he died early, in agony, and in disgrace. We tried to meet with the staff when they kept doing awful things to him and they didn't care and weren't worried about the state repercussions. That's because even though we carefully documented everything, the state either cannot or will not do much of anything. STAY AWAY if at all possible. If not possible, report them the second they do something wrong. Don't wait until it's too late the way we did.

Anderson House was very negligent in the care of my husband. Their lack of care caused him to get an infection which required a two week hospital stay and three surgeries. Don't go there!
