My father in law was discharged yesterday. They were going to send him home in a taxi. I'm thankful that my sister in law was able to be there and bring him home, because I was working, and my husband was unavailable. What if we were not home? He was absolutely miserable here. More nurses were rude and rough with him than kind and gentle. The times that I went to visit a woman kept screaming for help in the room next to his, and no one had any sense of urgency to help her. His room was always a mess. Diapers on the counter, dirty sheets and it seemed like they never changed his socks. At one point a family friend, who is like a daughter to him, went to see him and there were dried feces on his leg and socks. He was sent to the hospital twice and they did not inform us. They lied and said he was still there when he was at Swedish. We know this because a nurse from Swedish had just called us. I called this morning to ask about his medication, (it has changed since he left) and what time he should take it, and the nurse was extremely rude to me. Like I was disrupting her break. I do understand that this is hard work, and long hours, but being rude and treating people like a number is unacceptable in this line of work. I'm thankful he is home and I wish he never had to go here. Please do not, I repeat, do NOT send your family members here. If you have family here, get them out now. These people do not care and should not be in this line of work when they do not have a compassionate bone in their body. We have already contacted the proper authorities to investigate this so-called nursing home.

I value each family that comes to this facility I make it a point to introduce myself and offer my help no matter what it is. The staff is very caring and always shows concern and awareness for any need families may have. We have awesome outings that I have personally experienced. and very friendly staff. Autumn Heights is a second home staff.

I would highly recommend Autumn Heights Care Center. The staff is amazing and truly cares for their patients. I have been impressed with the entire staff willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure the patients are taken care of. Long Term Care is difficult but Autumn Heights helps make it feel like home with the love and attention from their staff.

This nursing HOME has great staff that is very attentive, caring, friendly and it has a homie feeling. Staff help with one to ones for extra safety for family members that require it to picking up extra shifts so they have proper care for family members. If i had to chose a HOME for my loved ones it would have to be this place with FAMILY CENTERED CARE.

As a member of the staff, I love working here. My coworkers are wonderful and show drive and compassion in their careers as they give our residents the best personal care possible. Every resident and coworker feels like family here.
