This facility is the absolute best in Arizona. My friend is being taken care of here and I couldn’t ask for better assistance! The cleanliness of the facility is extrordinar. The staff have the best customer service and are very generous as well. I will refer as many people as I can because I want to see Life Care at Paradise Valley be noticed for how hard they work to take care of the people!
I have been living at the LCC at Paradise Valley for over a year now. I have two different illnesses that there are no cure for. My doctor is Dr. Erik Ramnath. His knowledge of so many different areas of medicine it just amazes me. His ability to recall patient information in addition to everything else just blows me away Also, he does not hesitate to refer to a specialist if necessary to make sure that patients are given the maximum amount of care possible. He truly cares about all of the patients at this facility. I am grateful that the Lord has brought me to this facility and to this doctor. I continue to feel better every day. I know that I would have died a horrible death if it wasn't for this facility and doctor. Everyone at this facility, staff and patients, are like family. My husband died from a disease for which there is no cure and it was an absolutely horrible death. Unfortunately we did not find out about this facility until it was too late. I recommend this facility and doctor to everyone who needs it.
LCC of PV is an amazing place!! The residents and associates are family!! I watched the care staff and others involved with running the operations, ALL were exceptional and ALL of the care givers were the most caring, loving, and responsive team that anyone would ever want for themselves and their loved one. Keep up the job you're doing and Kudos to the E.D. for running a well organized team!!!
Understaffed. Kitchen food and service a nightmare. No one answers phones except front lobby desk. When doctor or special care needed, never met in a timely manner if at all. Four or five caregivers are the strength and care of full facility and are working beyond their share to care for patient and pick up slack. Run, this is not what your looking for. Could be, is when State visits, then returns to same the day they leave. Have tried to communicate all the way to director until I'm exhausted and feel what's the use.
My dad declined in health here while on rehab from a bypass. He was in good heath, but he was 79. The staff claimed he was participating in rehab, which wasn't true. This was the first lie. Over the course of a few days, he went from alert and well-orientated to rapidly declining. The on staff doctor explained to my mother that he was suffering from a diazepam pill that they had given him nearly 48 hour priors while he crashed, even though that pill had a half-life of only 7-8 hours. This was the 2nd lie. I got involved, and they transferred my father to a nearby hospital, where he died before they could render any care. In their own words, they are "very sorry."
