Some workers are very rude. No one takes responsibility for the patient that goes out the facility for care and make sure that there back. And so much more to say but I will never recommend this facility to any one in need of care at Majestic center at 2 Cooper plaza, Camden, new jersey that is conticed with Cooper hospital. I wanted him to be taken to Abigail House and a nurse at the hospital won't allow him because she claims there's dyalisys at this facility but no wrong he still needs to go out the building so wrong for that Cooper hospital nusre
My experience at Majestic was nothing short of harrowing. The condescending and accusatory manner with they treat their patients is truly awful. I had the misfortune of making my way to the second floor on a couple of occasions and the stench of urine and feces did nothing short of small you in the face. The animals at the pound area treated with more respect than the patients at Majestic. In summation if you love yourself refuse to be transferred to this facility and if you are looking for a facility to send your loved one too, find somewhere else.
Friendly and professionally. Am highly impressed with their Therapy department they help my husband a lots.
It took everything to even give this facility one star, however it would not allow me to post until I did. I have a family member that has been there for almost 2 months. He is tube fed and the nursing staff have neglected on more than one occasion to feed him and give him his medication. He is very with it and reminds them when they are around. He has even been asked by the nurses why he hasn't reminded them. They are supposed to increase his water intake because of his blood pressure being low and have not done that either. He has had his glasses stolen also. I could go on and on. I went in yesterday and spoke with the Director of Nursing and Social worker because a nurse told me that he was sorry that he missed two of my Uncle's feedings and he received late meds, because he was busy and had too many patients. Are you kidding me!?! Today, I get a call from my Uncle that they are early discharging him. We have not received any call from the social worker that I spoke with face-to-face yesterday. He still is not able to swallow on his own and has not been shown how to use his oxygen at home. We have contacted the Ombudsmen as well as the Department of Health. No one that is already sick should have to rehab in a facility like this. Majestic needs to be shut down. I'm sure that I will receive the same standard message about calling their toll free number. I have reported all of this in person and the way that they are handling it is with an early discharge. I will make sure that I advocate for him as well as other patients in Majestic.
I brought my father ALL NEW CLOTHES. Sweat suits for his therapy 10 outfits, 10 socks, 10 underwear, 10 shirts 2 hoodie jackets. And At time of leaving he had 2 sweat suits, 1 pair of sweat pants , no more underwear, 2 pair of socks 3 pair that didn’t fit and I didn’t buy and 1 hoodie jacket , 4 undershirt And a hoodie jacket the security guard gave him. REALLY!!! Horrible and nobody knows nothing .. I didn’t even want to give them a start!!!
