This has to be one of the worst facilities I've came in contact with, They are inept and careless. Nurses hit residents and harass them if they say something. Please don't bring any of your family members here. They are unsanitary and irresponsible. we had to stop a patient from going back because he was being physically and emotionally abused.
Former employee, horrible place to work, from administration staff cna. Have to say one of the WORST facilities i've ever worked, Very unprofessional high turn over rate alway's short staff! Health hazard nurses are unsanitary and also unprofessional. Cnas give poor care to resident's, please don't put your love one's in there they want receive the proper care and don't work there. Shut that place down IMMEDIATELY!
I find Monaco to be a beautiful facility with not one but two great courtyards. Across the street is King Soopers and Chipotle so picking something up isn't a long trek if you're feeling up to the walk. Right down the street from a high school and fast food for meals close by. The staff is knowledgeable and most have been with the facility for years. New managers in most positions have brought about some very positive changes in this building.
This is a death processing center with NO dignity in death. The staff is inept and uncaring I feel comfortable using words like cruel and sadistic to describe staff from CNAs to chief administrators. My handicap was mocked several times. Complaints were dismissed and retaliated to. I was forced to shower in front of student nurses. Threatened with police action 3 times. Stalked for a month by another resident who later thru hot coffee on me. I could go on and on. My speech vison and balance are impaired and staff found it necessary to us physical force on me. Dehumanization had a new meaning after 89 days of incarceration there.
I was a patient there for over a month and experienced frequent abuse, as did my 80 year old roommate and countless other residents. We were yelled at, and laughed at. The support staff like social workers, case managers and the like frequently quit, having a high turnaround because they saw how poorly run the place is. Nurses commonly work 24 hour shifts because they're under staffed. I was screamed at by a woman named Judith for going to the bathroom too much. She terrified me and made me afraid to push my buttons for help. She needs to be arrested and the facility needs to be shut down.
